Reader comment on item: Documentary Exposes Radical Muslim Rhetoric
in response to reader comment: how many cases of honor killing

Submitted by Kat (United States), Jun 21, 2007 at 20:56

so rape and assault equal murder now ? America is NO LONGER a Christian Country. If she were, she would be much better off. She was told not to let those that worship other Gods into her gates, her government did NOT heed Gods warnings...........they started pulling God out of the courts first, then, public life, schools, etc... and now we fight to keep up our Ten Commandment monuments over atheists and others who claim offense by these truths. We fight for our kids rights to their freedom of religion in schools, etc......I havent time to continue on, I could go on forever with what is wrong with America.

I never called America the champion of human rights and this was supposed to be a republic, NOT a democracy. I have to, had this argument with my congressman.

I do not need lectures about being abused or beaten, I am a victim of such male barbarism, that is my primary reason for remaining single. When I long to love or feel loved, I just remember one incident, and its enough for me to know, there is very little love out there anymore, not to bother with it....so I remain single even if I dont always want to , I still know its best for me.

I too, have seen the immoral and hollow side of my birth country and what it has become.

I think you should study Finland if you believe this happens in every Christian Country. I have had to live near such greedy, cold, me me me, kind of people. Did I ever claim differently ? I was arguing against genital maiming and honor killings, not against violence and rape, greed, selfishness and materialism because that was NOT the subject available for me to argue against.....but, now , you made it the subject, and I cannot disagree...I have also esperienced these issues, and have argued against them inside of my society here at home. Does this mean I cannot argue my opinion and point against what goes on in islamic countries ? No, it does not. I used to love Cat Stevens music. He is muslim now, this has not changed my opinion of his music, or caused me to have ill will toward him.

Others are demonizing it, I read what they write, and I make my own judgements against what I disagree with, and for what I agree with. You have just never seen the things I have written in agreement of.

Yes, I have read much of the Koran, and some parts of the hadith, and other things they claim go with it. I can make claims against and for .....just as I can about the Bible, agree and disagree. I am an individual person, with my own thoughts, opinions, feelings ,etc. This does not make me right, or wrong, this makes me an individual. Later.....
